In the last week, two new appointment rank insignia have been unveiled. One for the Army command sergeant major, who was outgoing Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a second, introduced just today, for the USAF command chief master sergeant who is the incoming SEAC.

Both use the Department of Defense eagle, surrounded by four stars as the central emblem.
The USMC SEAC insignia has been resourced to be developed before the end of the current fiscal year. A Navy insignia will follow at a date undetermined, probably when a Navy SEAC is appointed.
