Here is a partial listing of the rank insignia used by the Denver Sheriff's Office in Colorado. The DSO is unique as it covers both the city and county of Denver and the fact that there is no sheriff but rather a position called Manager of Public Safety who is the head of the Police, Fire and Sheriff's Office, the actual head of the Sheriff's Office is the Director of Corrections. I would assume that the rank insignia is similar to that of the Denver Police Dept. so heres my partial listing based on that assumption, I will try and email them for more information.
Manager of Safety - ?
Director of Corrections - ?

Division Chief
Major
Captain
Sergeant - ?
Deputy - no rank insignia

For some reason the edit tab isent working right.
Pictures on their website indicate the above is probably correct and it seems like rank insignia is worn on the collars only for Captain and above.
Sergeant - sleeves
Sergeant - collars

Yesterday the city charter was changed to create an office of Sheriff, below the Manger of Safety.
