Here is the rank insignia for the Chattanooga Police Department in Tennessee. Rank insignia for Lieutenant through Chief is worn on the collars of the shirt while rank insignia for Sergeant is worn on both the collars of the shirt and the sleeves of the shirt and the jacket below the shoulder patch. The Chattanooga Police Department was created in 1852 and currently employs 433 sworn officers and 172 civilian staff.
