Here is the rank insignia for the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan which was created in 1818 and currently employs 251 sworn officers and 253 civilian staff. Rank insignia for Lieutenant through Sheriff is worn on the collars of the shirt and the shoulders of the jacket while rank insignia for Sergeant and Corporal is worn on the sleeves below the shoulder patch.
