Here is the rank insignia for the Peoria Police Department in Arizona which was created in 1954 and currently employs 159 sworn officers and 71 civilian staff. Rank insignia for Police Lieutenant through Police Chief is worn on the collars of the shirt and the shoulders of the jacket while rank insignia for Sergeant is worn on the sleeves below the shoulder patch, rank insignia for Acting Sergeant is worn on the collars of the shirt.
