Here's the ranks for the fire department in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. No details on insignia though.

Chief
Deputy Chief
Battalion Chief
Division Chief
Captain
Lieutenant
Rescue Officer
Training Officer
Fire Inspector
Firefighter
Fire Dispatcher

The ranks (in ascending order) of the Officers in the VFRS are:

Lieutenant - One White Stripe on a light blue shirt
Captain - Two White Stripes on a light blue shirt
Battalion Chief - Two Gold Stripes on a white shirt
Deputy Chief - Four Gold Stripes on a white shirt
Fire Chief - Five Gold Stripes on a white shirt
