ROBB: Are there any groups of collectors who specialise in ROTC and JrROTC insignia? The late Colonel James Greene Jr. who was one time President of the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors was interested in ROTC patches and distinctive unit insignia (pins), but he is the only person whom I know who collected ROTC, are there more who are serious collectors of ROTC as well? Do they exist or did they exist? Sarge Booker :) :) :)

I'm interested in senior ROTC rank epaulets.
I also need USMA, USAFA and USMMA rank apaulets, if anybody has some to get rid of.

DAVE: By R.O.T.C. I meant high school and college type, was not even thinking about the U.S. Air Force Academy though I did an article on their rank marks (shoulder boards) for PHOENIX EXCHANGE some years ago as I'd never seen it before nor since then? There is also Virginia Military Institute and The Citadel (South Carolina) as well as the USCG Academy and the U.S. Maritime Academy as well, Dave! Rudy Basurto and I worked on several books about these service academies for the sea services and I did several articles which I illustrated for the American Society of Military Insignia Collector's TRADING POST magazine on the USMA at West Point, New York. Sarge Booker :) :) :)
