JUSTIN: Does anyone know just how many different MERIT BADGES have been issued by the Boy Scouts of America to date? Would probably take 2 or 3 merit badge sashes to display them all? Sarge Booker :) :) :)

At last count currently I think there are 43 Badges this does not include the older badges and ones that have been added recently

Like I have 2 versions of the BSA Bicycle Merit Badge Green Boarder (Optional not required for Eagle Scout) and white boarder (Required for eagle) the change on this badge was made in 2000

Like I have 2 versions of the B.S.A. Bicycle Merit Badge Green Border (Optional, not required for Eagle Scout) and white border (Required for eagle) the change on this badge was made in 2000.

JUSTIN: But add these 43 to all of the the others used and discontinued plus various patterns and colours, etc., could add up quite a few, yes? Sarge Booker :) :) :)
