Cold War Egypt

Unread postby DarthGaddafi » Wed Mar 20, 2013 4:52 am

I have been on a Cold War kick lately and I have made (started) a number charts of the more peripheral actors. I know these charts are crude but I like to get ideas out there in the rank enthused community. Working on Sadat era late 60s-70s.

Good stuff.

Nasser was anglophobic through and through (as indeed were most, if not all, of the Free Officers) yet the scheme of rank insignia they adopted was clearly British in origin. Pretty common in the ex-colonial world.
