Can you try?

It's hopeless. Try to contact uniformolo@aol.com and ask them to send you a bigger scan.

Japanese Rank Insignia

Dear Gaszewski

Reads the message of uniformolo below

"We can of course make the prints bigger but we try and keep them small so that people do not copy them and print them out themselves- we have a small market and it would certainly not be profitable for anyone to try and "pirate" our prints but I am told it could happen- That is why they are the size they are= thanks for your concern- "

Philip Cranz

it is lamentable that the people alone think currently about profit.

Ill say, but then again, if they made them full size, id be among the 1st to copy them to Paint and print them out into my collection.

Japanese Army Rank Insignia 1904-1905

Unread postby Cristiano de S. O. Campos » Mon Apr 12, 2004 10:15 pm

:D

Hello

I found the Japanese Rank Insignia 1904-1905.

Left row (up to down) : General to 2nd Lt.
Right row (up to down) : Sergent Major to 2nd Class Pvt

Note : Leading Pvt did not exist in those days.

The details of rank decoration are very complicated. They are different
by
services-in-arm and kind of unit. The enclosed picture shows that of
infantry arm and standard division.
