hi dharma, orke here

Your thoughts on this side are good.I am always grateful for references and corrections. The sequence of the badges of rank shown are however like that correct.
that Unterleutnant were not in each army let us officer-see also
Austria Hungary, here vice lieutenant called.

The Netherlands designation:Fandrik, Underluitenant,Adjudant-underofficier

All three were warrant officer. The badges shown here were carried between 1940-1950 to the white uniform.
The Netherlands had however in the Second World War many areas at
Japan to deliver.
After the war Holland got its areas back.By the independence of Indonesia lost the Netherlands its areas in this region.

greet ORKE

herr ORKE, schön, dich kennen zu lernen.

the insignia above is KNIL koninklijk nederlands indisch leger , ya.

from mid 1945 till late 1950 there was ned. indie 'politioneel' forces under NICA. were they wearing different insignia than the ned. mainland? and how about the dutch army/ landmacht during 1950 - 1961 in western part of papua island (ned. oost indies en nieuw-guinea); different insignia, or just special badges?

vielen dank.

hi dharma

You speak well German. I am called actually Mario. ORKE is only my nickname.
The colonial troops were nearly identical to the homeland army. There were however some differences in the uniforms and in the rank designations. Of the Netherlands-Indian army the units of the princes were
independent. They carried however the uniforms of the Netherlands-Indian army.
these were:
the legion of Mangkoe Negoro
the legion of Pakoe Alam
the Parajoda of Bali
the Barisan of Bangkalan
the Barisan of Pamekasan
the Barisan of Sumenep
Over Papau I do not lift information.

And  why?

You thought and you combined well.

greet Mario.
