Dmitry: Excellent job, as usual. I have a few comments though.

Engineers did not use the executive curl before 1914.
All other civil branch officers began to use it from 1918.
Also, the rank of Lieutenant-Commander replaced Lieutenant with over 8 years seniority in 1914.

Chief Warrant Officers (Commissioned Warrant Officers from 1920) and Mates wore the same rank insignia as Sub-Lieutenants. Mate was a commissioned rank of the Royal Navy introduced in 1912 as a vehicle for promotion from the Lower Deck (abolished 1931). Chief Warrant Officers wore the 1/2 ínch stripe with three buttons until 1918.

Three buttons became rank insignia for Chief Petty Officers in 1918, when all Warrant Officers got the 1/4 inch stripe.

Thanks, Luke))
I will check more and make proper corrections.
Actually, sometimes it looks like even during such unpleasant disasters like wars somebody pays more attantion to tiny details like width of cuff laces and number of buttons than to the level of weapon and ammo production))

You bet! Look at the Germans during WW2. Until almost the bitter end they were changing uniform details.

In december 1943 regulations for new Railway rank insignia were introduced. And in May 1944 a completely new personnell category came to life, Offiziere im Truppensonderdienst, which of course required changing rank insignia.

Same is in the Modern Ukrainian Army now.
As you know the general situation in Ukraine is far from perfection, and we have to spend a lot of money to keep our Armed Forces on a proper level because of the aggression. And in spite of all this, some authorities are ready to waste money to elaborate and implement not new tanks, aircrafts etc, but new rank insignia system. As though the fighting capability depends on which stars - 5-pointed or 4 -pointed - will be on your shoulder straps.
