Hello Peter,
you will find the actual rank insignias of the "Bundesgrenzschutz" ("Federal Border Guard"), who was renamed yesterday to "Bundespolizei" ("Federal Police"), on this homepage:
http://www.bundesgrenzschutz.de/Ausstat ... /index.php
The insignias are now similiar to the State Police Forces. Until some time ago, the rank insignia was the same as the pre-war police in Germany.
For 12 years, wore this old uniform, which was, to some extend, similiar the uniform of the Wehrmacht (different colour, different collar).
