Night watchmen and factory guards (Werksicherheitsdienst) got standardized rank insignia in 1937. Later change of name to Werkschutzpolizei did not affect the rank insignia.
* Wachmann-Anwärter = no rank insignia
* Wachmann = 1 Chevron on upper left arm
* Oberwachmann = 2 Chevrons
* Wachleiter = 3 Chevrons
* Oberwachleiter = 1 Stripe on left sleeve

Below is an "Oberwachleiter" at the Focke Wulf Flugzeugwerke. Standardized insignia in cap and on upper left arm. Collar patches with the logo of Focke Wulf.
