With the introduction of blue uniforms for the German customs service, rank insignia will be reintroduced. They will be of the police type (stars in different colours).

The change to a blue uniform, with rank insignia, has been suspended by the Ministry of Finance. It seems as if the ministry wants to keep the old green colour. The union is angry.
