Welcome to the forum!
I assume that the bottom row is shoulder tab rank insignia but what is the top row? Is that worn on the cuffs or upper sleeves?
Also are those all the ranks? I recall seeing the official website listing more ranks, I believe 3 or 4 enlisted and NCOs plus the officers wearing the same rank insignia as the Swedish Navy. Maybe im confusing Finland and Sweden

Hi,
Correkt, the upper row is on the cuffs, as the navy. They use identicaly jackets. There may be some more grades, I'm looking for more info all the time. The SWECG has no info on there site about there grades and insignia's, yet!

Are these official images?
The rank titles are not definite. There are also
Kustbevakningsinspektör, förste kustbevakningsinspektör, while "Vakthavande befäl" is not rank, but a duty title.
The number of rings or stripes in the SWCG is based on the old RSWN-system.
Go to this site and click around under 'Personal', and other rank insignia will be found:

Check this guy, he is head of the Technical Division of the SWCG HQ, note the purple cloth between the stripes, just as for Naval Engineers:

My guess is that 'Kustbevakningsinspektör' has 3 1/2 stripes, 'förste kustbevakningsinspektör' 4 stripes, 'avdelningschef, regionchef, chef för kustbevakningsflyget' has one thick and three normal stripes. /Luke
