Welcome back !
In regard to sponsor, I recently suggested looking at militaria-related companies such as military surplus stores and auctioneers
In term of format, one suggestion I would have for the pages themselves would be to include a short paragraph on each one giving a short explanation on what the organisation is.
Obviously "afghan army" is pretty much self-explanatory but some organisations are a bit harder to figure out, especially obsolete ones where there isn't any English language information available online.
Another thing I'd like to see added to pages, although this might only be of interest to amateur linguist like me, is a more etymologically close translation of organisations' names and rank titles in addition to the original and equivalent ones if only to add to our understanding of those organisation and internal logic.
For example, both Poland and Romania currently use a rank title that is translate as "master corporal" for the first and "first sergeant" for the second even though a literal translation would be closer to "platoonier" in a similar fashion to "brigadier". While there is nothing wrong with the equivalency given since it might more easily give an approximation, giving the more literal translation gives a better sense that it is, at least perceptually within the organisation, a different rank rather then one subdivision of a particular rank.
