Valtrex, excellent posts they are, thank you very much! I am preparing a page on Greek awards to my site and this information is most useful. Could you pls write when the Commemorative Medal for Cyprus Operations was established and what its exact name in Greek is (pls use the Greek characters if possible). What is the place of the medal in the award system of Greece?

Thanks again :-)

I'm sorry, I forgot to post that the Cyprus commemorative medal established in 2000. On the reverse, the medal bears the shield of the National Defence General Staff.
