The interesting part of this image is not the dragoon who fainted, but the badges the corporal is wearing on his right arm:
* crossed rifles above the rank badges
* winged dagger (?) on the sleeve

What do they signify?

Luke, look here - http://www.uniformology.com/UIDSPEC-08.html . It contains some info concerning additional sleeve patches for Light Dragoons.

And the picture of a corporal - the rifle instructor with crossed rifles http://www.britishempire.co.uk/forces/a ... s2004b.htm

I found the dagger & wreath badge listed as a "Class 1 Infantry Soldier" badge, as opposed to a plain dagger "Combat Infantryman" badge: http://www.cadetdirect.com/rank-slides-badges/embroidered-badges/trade-specialist-badges

I'm assuming that this would be something similar to the US Army's Expert Infantryman Badge?
