The rank titles for seamen and petty officers are not correct. They are only used in the Navy, not the ICG.

Single anchor does not denote Leading Seaman but Uttam Navik.

Two crossed anchors does not denote Petty Officer but the three ranks of Pradhan Navik, Yantrik and Uttam Yantrik (all wearing the same insignia).

"Petty Officer" rank insignia are worn by the three ranks of Sahayak Engineer, Adhikari and Pradhan Yantrik
MPO II = Uttam Adhikari and Uttam Sahayak Engineer are their real ranks
MPO I = Pradhan Adhikari and Pradhan Sahayak Engineer

The stripes under the MPO's anchor and wreath are white.
The PO's and MPO's also wear the same insignia on the sleeves.
